What is the interior glass finish made of?
Purist technology transforms silicon dioxide (sand quartz), one of the most fundamental elements on earth, into a flawless glass-like interior (inner layer). The glass finish is just 60 nanometers thick – thinner than a fraction of one strand of human hair. This technology provides all the benefits of typical glass and creates a barrier between your beverage and the raw stainless container. Making the surface completely smooth and pure for better taste and easier clean.
What does the inside of the bottle look like?
The inside of the bottle may look like any other stainless bottle to the naked eye. However, because the finish acts as a smooth barrier, you will see that liquids interact with the surface differently and carbonated beverages won’t foam as much when poured into the bottle.
How does Purist technology affect taste?
Purist emerged from our conviction that taste should never be compromised. Whether it’s a metallic tinge or a hint of last week’s coffee, your Purist bottle won’t retain any unwanted tastes.
How long will it last?
When cared for properly, the Purist technology will remain intact for the life of the bottle. Because the interior glass finish essentially becomes part of the bottle, it won’t delaminate, chip, or peel off.
How long will my Purist bottle retain temperatures?
Purist bottles keep drinks hot for 12 hours and cold for 24 hours, depending on what lid style you have.

What is the best way to clean the Scope top?
We recommend first soaking in warm, soapy water. Then, while the top is submerged, close the top to trap water inside. Lastly, shake several times to thoroughly clean the inner workings of the top. Repeat this process as needed until the rinse water runs clean. If more cleaning is warranted, wash in the top rack of the dishwasher in the open position.
Can I use the Union top with hot liquids?
The Union top is designed and intended for use with cold or neutral liquids. However, it can be used with warm or hot liquids, but we caution users to drink carefully and warn that hot temperatures may not be retained as well with this top.
Are the tops insulated to retain temperature?
Due to function and intended use, the Element top is insulated and the Union top is not.
